About Us

Laurie Fagen of Honu Productions – “honu” means turtle in Hawaiian – is jumping back into the production world after a 12-year career writing, producing and directing corporate videos in Phoenix. A long-time writer in a variety of mediums, including broadcast and print journalism, magazines, screenplays and other formats, Fagen is creating “film” (video) shorts for competition.

Two of the topics are regarding the “Me, Too” and “Time’s Up” sexual harassment movements, and one is on the need for art.

They were shot during the summer of 2018 and submitted to film festivals.
